Things you can do to improve indoor air quality

If you are concerned about the indoor air quality of your home, don’t just sit there and let it affect your health. You can do some practical things to improve the quality of air inside your home. The best part is that you won’t have to spend a lot of money for it, so you can get going right away.

First, you should be aware that there are a number of plants which act as air purifiers. Aloe Vera and spider plants are great air purifying plants, so you can start by having four of those inside your home. Keep your windows closed during the autumn, because no matter how sunny and beautiful the day looks on the outside, the air during this season contains pollen from the fallen leaves which can give you allergies; especially if you have asthma.

For better indoor air quality, only replacing 20x20x1 air filter in your air conditioning will not be sufficient. You also have to vacuum the windows, the floor and your carpet 2 – 3 times a week. BY doing all of these, you will make your indoor air quality much healthier which will make your dwelling a nice place to be.
